Life lately

Quote: "Decide that you want it more than you are afraid of it." -Bill Cosby

I haven't made a post in awhile... life's been super busy. It seems like whenever Summer comes around everything gets crazy- good crazy though.

Lately we've been heading to the lake for family celebrations which has been fun fun fun!

I also heading to Mississippi for a wedding and got to meet alot of Taylor's friends. It was lots of fun and great to see the people he grew up with. Unfortunately neither of us are big picture takers so we only have one picture from the wedding (and its not a good one)...

Memorial day we floated down the Chattahoochie River and had a great day. Now it's Tuesday and I'm back at work -tired & struggling. Can't wait 'til friday and this weekend becasue we are getting massages..ooo la la.

New Bedding

Quote: "I can be changed by what happens to me, but I refuse to be reduced by it."

Ok- so I'm getting ready to move into a new apartment and everytime I move I always want new bedding -even though my current bedding is only a year old and is still nice and super cute...it's a small addiction I have. When I have a big change I like my room to look fresh and new!

So here's what I'm thinking...

For my curtains: (from Urban Outfitters)

For my Duvet:

OR

Basically I'm just thinking the Duvet will be a light-ish grey..

Then I'd probably have some fun pillows (some maybe-examples below):

So if anyone has any thoughts I would LOVE LOVE LOVE feedback...

I'm getting excited to start decorating our new place. June 8th can't come soon enough!

Life lately

Life Lately:

Lately my life has been busy busy busy.

We went to the lake for Easter Weekend and it was wonderful. Saturday we put the boats in the water -quite an escapade!!! It took a solid 5 hours to get them clean, in the water, and running. But now they are in the water and doing great. We also dyed Easter eggs after we had a delicious meal Saturday night.

Easter Sunday we woke up bright and early and went to 7:45 am mass at the Catholic Church we go to by Clemson. The tiniest little grandma sat in front of us so we giggled and called her "teacup grannie" all mass. Oh the little things that keep us amused.

After that we went to brunch at Portman Marina on the lake. MAN it was delicious.... fish, meat, fruits, veggies, sides, sushi, desserts...basically it had anything you could dream of. So we ate until we almost exploded and then went back to the lakehouse and took the boat out for a spin. We layed in the sun and digested our food for an hour on the water -talk about sunnnnnburrrrnnnssss. Then we packed up and headed home. It was wonderful!

Easter is my favorite holiday and this one was just perfect. Only thing that would have made it better is if my little sister could of been there too -she was at soccer in California for a week- and if a special boy could have been there too. Hopefully next year we go to the lake and everyone can be there.

One bad thing happened- poor baby specs chopped her toenail off and the nerve was exposed and bloody when she jumped off the dock. So now shes a cone head.
